Accessibility profiles

This map demonstrates the 30-minute accessibility profile of an area of Sydney - Leichhardt.

It shows travel time catchments of four different methods of travel - walking, public transport in the morning, private vehicle travel in a congested environment and private vehicle travel in an uncongested environment.

Within these catchments, the most significant employers for four different types of industry category are displayed for NSW. These are aggregations of all industry types in the Census. Specifically, this is based on the Journey-to-Work data from the 2016 Census.

The centre points for each Statistical Area (SA2) identified is displayed, with overlapping locations between industries displayed slightly apart. This gives a simple representation of whether and what kinds of work are accessible from this location.
