Hazel Easthope presents to the Land and Environment Court

A/Prof Hazel Easthope was pleased to be invited by the Judicial Commission of NSW to present at webinar for members of the Land and Environment Court in late February, on the topic 'Strata Property: Emerging issues for planning, development practices and building quality'. Hazel's presentation positioned the NSW strata title system in its international context and discussed its influence on other systems of property ownership worldwide, before identifying a range of current and emerging issues relating to strata property in NSW, including horizontal and vertical collective sales, community-led re/development and build-to-rent, and building defects. The presentation also highlights recent research undertaken by Dr Easthope and her colleagues on issues relating to strata title. You can view the slides of the presentation here.
