Many congratulations to Adjunct Prof Geoff Roberts on the award of Member of the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday 2019 Honours List. Geoff’s award was for “significant service to urban planning and development”, reflecting his longstanding role as a senior practitioner in strategic city planning and his current role as Deputy Commissioner and Economic Commissioner of the Greater Sydney Commission. Geoff has been associated with City Futures since 2013, greatly supporting the review and development of the Centre’s current Business Plan during 2014. He was appointed as an Adjunct Professor in 2014 and currently serves as the Chair of our external Advisory Panel.
