Exiting prison with complex needs: the role of housing assistance

This project investigates how housing assistance shapes the pathways of persons exiting prison with complex needs. It comprises analyses of linked administrative data mapping differently assisted persons’ post-release contacts with criminal justice and other agencies, interviews with stakeholders in NSW, Tasmania and Victoria, and the cost-benefit of housing assistance.
