Modelling a synthetic population and their demand on social infrastructure

This project developed an innovative method to integrate a spatial scenario-based approach with a synthetic population evolution model, and tested it to the South-East Sydney Region. The result is the creation of future scenarios of population growth, individual and household demographics, residential location and daily mobility patterns across the region at fine spatial and temporal scales.

The spatial scenario can be viewed here.
